Kashmiri Pink Chai vs Regular Chai – What’s the Difference?

Pink Chai, also called Noon Chai, is very different from regular chai. While regular chai is sweet, made with black tea, milk, and sugar, Pink Chai uses green tea leaves, baking soda, and a special method that gives it a rich pink color. Pink Chai also has a unique salty and slightly spiced flavor, making it very different in taste and texture. It’s usually enjoyed during cold weather, especially in Kashmir. If you’ve only tried regular chai, discovering Pink Chai is like stepping into a new world of tea culture with history and tradition in every sip.
